Nan-Young Lee

President of Korean Academy of Pediatric Dentistry

Welcome to the website of the Korean Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Hello, I am Dr. Nan Young Lee, the 33rd President of the Korean Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

The Korean Academy of Pediatric Dentistry was founded in 1959 and is one of the leading dental societies in Korea, with more than 1100 members.

Our society contributes to members' acquisition of the latest knowledge in the field of pediatric dentistry through various academic conferences and makes great efforts to educate specialists through specialty training conferences, sedation training conferences, and specialty deepening education, and We’re writing textbooks and practice books for sutudents.

In addition, we lead the improvement of research quality by conducting large-scale research projects sponsored by the Society, supporting research grants for young professors, and advising various companies.

The Journal of the Korean Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, published by the Society, has been delivering the latest knowledge in the field of pediatric dentistry through four volumes every year. In 2023, it will switch to the English version of the Journal of the Korean Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and strive to be registered in SCOPUS and SCI.

The website of the Korean Academy of Pediatric Dentistry provides various information in the field of pediatric dentistry not only to members of the academy but also to the general public. We have an e-book called Story of healthy teeth, which explains in an easy-to-understand manner the questions parents have about their children by age, and we also operate an online medical consultation room, so please feel free to visit us anytime, and you can find a pediatric dental clinic in your neighborhood that is recognized by the Society through our website. We hope that our website can be a place of active communication open to both members and the general public.

The Korean Association of Pediatric Dentistry will continue to strive for the healthy growth of all children and will do its best to play a greater role as a place for academic exchange among members. We look forward to your active participation and support.

Thank you.
